FULL ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival – Nairobi
Jambo! Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, you will be met by our representative from Nature Surf Africa who will greet you and assist with the transfer to Boma Hotel for overnight.

Day 2 & 3: Amboseli National Park    
This morning after breakfast, depart for Amboseli National Park, located at the foot of Africa's highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive with a game viewing drive en route to your lodge for check in and lunch. Afternoon spent at leisure before departing for a game viewing drive. Later as the sun sets, you will be transferred back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park      


After breakfast depart to Lake Nakuru to arrive at your lodge in good time for lunch. Enjoy your lunch and afternoon rest at the lodge. In the evening embark on game drive within Lake Nakuru National Park as you explore the park. The park covers an area of 188 square kilometer and it’s a home to thousands and thousands of flamingoes that decorate the lake with their pink plumage. The park also has a rhino sanctuary both black and white not forgetting other animals such as buffalo, zebras, lion, leopard and assorted antelopes. Later on return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5 & 6: Masai Mara National Reserve      


Your journey now takes you to the Masai Mara, Kenya’s most famous wildlife reserve. Arrive in time for lunch followed by afternoon game viewing drive. You will have one more day of game viewing with all meals and overnight at your camp.  

The Masai Mara is arguably Kenya’s most popular game reserve. It is most famous and most visited game reserve in Kenya. The film “Out of Africa” was made to a great extend in this sanctuary. There is a profusion of all types of wildlife including the big five. A spectacle worth seeing is the annual migration of millions of wildebeests, zebras, and the gazelles from the Serengeti plains across the Tanzania border and the Mara River to reach Masai Mara grazing fields from late June. The game reserve abounds with birdlife since close to about four hundred and fifty two odd species have been recorded.

Ashnil Mara Camp is a combination of luxury and adventure, it invites you to experience the thrills and excitement of the world famous Masai Mara. The location of the camp is an ideal spot to capture the true essence of the wild and experience breathtaking views of great wildlife species including the "Big Five". Ashnil Mara Camp offers the unique opportunity of experiencing a tented safari with a difference: 75 luxurious tents are set amidst lush extensive gardens. All tents come with permanent floors and include a private WC and shower with hot and cold running water and electricity.

Day 7: Nairobi – Departure       
After breakfast at the Camp, bid farewell to the Masai Mara as you set on your journey back to Nairobi.  Drive back down the Great Rift Valley to Nairobi, passing the dormant volcano, Mount Longonot, and lakes Elementaita and Naivasha on the way. Keep an eye out for herds of giraffe and gazelle and head up the escarpment. You will arrive in Kenya's bustling capital city Nairobi in the early afternoon where you will be transferred to the Jomo Kenyatta International airport for your departure flight back home.
